Elizabeth Thomeczek is USD 494's Jr/Sr High School Counselor.  Previously, a math teacher, she has been in education for 5 years.  She has a Bachelor's in Mathematics from Ottawa University, a Master's in Secondary Education from Pittsburg State University, and is working on a Master's in School Counseling from Southeastern Oklahoma University. She is also a certified Law Enforcement officer in Kansas.

Mrs. Thomeczek’s goal this year is for every student to have a Post-Secondary plan, whether it be entering the workforce, furthering their education, or joining the military.  Mrs. Thomeczek is bilingual in Spanish and English.

Elizabeth Thomeczek es la consejera de la escuela secundaria junior/sr de USD 494. Anteriormente, profesora de matemáticas, ha estado en educación durante 5 años. Tiene una Licenciatura en Matemáticas de la Universidad de Ottawa, una Maestría en Educación Secundaria de la Universidad Estatal de Pittsburg y está trabajando en una Maestría en Consejería Escolar de la Universidad del Sureste de Oklahoma. También es oficial de cumplimiento de la ley certificada en Kansas.

El objetivo de la Sra. Thomeczek este año es que cada estudiante tenga un plan de educación superior, ya sea para ingresar a la fuerza laboral, continuar su educación o unirse al ejército. La Sra. Thomeczek es bilingüe en español e inglés.
