5th Grade Science

So far in Science the students have looked at various types of specimens through the microscope.  We are currently studying the animal and plant cell and their organelles that help the cell function. The students are very excited about making the 3-D cells.  These will be up in the hall so feel free to ask your child to explain them when you come for conferences.  Next we will be learning about the 6 kingdoms of living things and the human body.  We are off to a great year and can't wait to continue having fun with this wonderful group of students.
